The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Express Anger Over Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has updated its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The company said the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Measurement Approach Updates
Earlier, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Member Accounts
One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, located in Scotland, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, said she had been left angered because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the platform withdrew an update to its shipping options following member complaints.
