'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently two years through the four-year deal he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the summer of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an impressive 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the initial significant achievement of his distinguished career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he previously was, and would seriously consider lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
